This is a compilation of three separate sketches of alternate outfits for Kairi, Sora, and Riku from the game Kingdom Hearts that I did for both a forum RPG plot that I'm working on and my senior thesis for art school.
The basis of the RP is about 5 years after the conclusion of KHII the three heroes have gathered a group of 18 young men and women and have begun to train them in the ways of the keyblade and combating the Heartless. Riku is in charge of normal combat and information gathering (and being sneaky in general, forming his own network of spies all over the worlds), Sora is in charge of everything relating to combat magic, and Kairi handles combat support such as healing.
Players will RP as the trainees and combat will work off of a dice system akin to DnD. I'll be playing the role of Riku and various NPCs and my GF ~SariaTaviSoodo will be handling Sora and some NPCs as well. If you're interested please note me and I'll direct you to the forum for discussion.
Anyways... I designed these outfits keeping in mind the characters roles. Kairi's design was actualy based a bit on Yuna from FFX-2, Sora's design is based on his UltimaWeapon keyblade, and Riku was designed around the idea that he'd need something both to be able to conceal his identity but at the same time show his personal flare.
My wish is to actualy construct these costumes for my cosplay group and take pictures for so that I could paint portraits of my group for my senior thesis project but seeing as I'm unemployed right now I don't know if that's gonna happen... If you'd like to use these designs for your own cosplay please feel free to note me to discuss this.
I'm going to replace this file with a clean line art version soon and eventually a colored version. I finally figured out what was wrong with my tablet and got everything re-configured after my mac desired to eat the driver for it.
